"Didymus Followed" - The one man play
This is a short 10 minute preview of Larry Bullington's one man play "Didymus Followed".
Spend an hour in a different place and time. Join the disciple Thomas as he works out his salvation in India in the years following the crucifixion.
Watch work in progress on a large painting while Didymus answers questions from the audience about his memories of the years he spent with Jesus. Laugh as he comes to grips with the realities of growing old and the various body parts that just "ain't what they used to be". Artist/Educator Larry Bullington is also an Ordained Minister who holds a B.A. in Ministry and a Masters in Secondary Education. He lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee with his wife Judy.
Mr. Bullington believes that God gave him this play to use as a ministry opportunity. He has just booked The Barking Legs theatre for November 10th 2012 to put on the play for the third time. Ideally he would like to incorporate his play into a full day event with various other Christian artists, musicians and performers. Tickets are available now, they are $12 in advance and $15 day of show. Mr. Bullington can also bring his play to your church or Christian event and expound on the word of God. Please email Larry at larryjudybulling@bellsouth.net or call 423-883-9609 for more information or to inquire about working this play into an event.
Evangelist Larry Bullington began his ministry immediately upon his salvation experience in 1984. Known as "The Bible Man" he created Shelbyville Home Missions, a coin bank ministry which purchased Bibles and food items for the poor in his hometown of Shelbyville, Indiana.
After a trip to Indianapolis to give his personal testimony at several homeless missions, he soon took over a monthly preaching spot at one where he was awarded a certificate calling him a "Friend to The Friendless." It was during these services that he gained much experienced preaching. He organized a team of signers, musicians and helpers that traveled in several cars to the city to present the Gospel to homeless men. During this group ministry time he met his wife Judy.
After receiving a degree in ministry from Bethany Bible College and Theological Seminary in 1993 he moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee and began attending Seminary at Tennessee Temple University. Larry next created and led a new team of Evangelical workers who ministered at such places as the Union Gospel Mission, Maranatha Rescue Mission, and several churches in the Chattanooga area.
